ABOUT

our story

As a lifelong baseball lover, former player and parent coach, I’ve spent countless hours in the backyard, and at ball fields, coaching, pitching batting practice and playing catch with my kids and grandkids.

Then came a training session with my grandsons, James, John and Joe, that I will never forget.  They all have a heart for the game and love to pitch, but they were frustrated with themselves and each other. They didn’t have the control they needed to pitch batting practice to each other at a level that resulted in fun and effective training. There was a lot of arguing over balls and strikes.

That’s when it hit me! They needed a training tool that would help them become better pitchers, that they could use with or without coach supervision, that was light weight, portable, easy to set up, and would stop the arguing over balls and strikes.

I immediately began prototype work on what would eventually become the “Put Me In, Coach!” Pitching Target and Training System—a tool that gives young pitchers, hitters and fielders what they really need: great training reps, clarity, an instructional resource, confidence, a virtual umpire and a whole lot of fun.

Today, this product is helping players across the country train smarter, stay motivated, and fall deeper in love with the game. Whether you’re a coach trying to train your entire team and bullpen or a parent supporting your kid’s baseball dreams, this tool was built for you. And I truly believe it’s making a difference, one pitch at a time.

“The PMIC pitching target is simple to incorporate into drills and practice. It encourages players to focus their throws at a true-to-game strike zone. It is an excellent umpire in batting practice as the sound says it all. It fits in the catcher's gear bag, and we use it for game time warm ups.”
